Finding Our Permanent Home...
Hello All!
As you may have recently read, buried in this article in our local Dayton Daily News, the building where our shop is located has been sold. With our goals no longer aligned with our landlord, we've decided to find new permanent location that can continue to serve you. I'm happy to say we've found that spot, and are having our grand opening there on Sunday, May 15th, to coincide with the "Third on Third" Arts Fest that literally happens just outside our new front door at 16 Bates Street. We welcome you all out to see our new space.
This new location is bigger, brighter, allows our customers to have a view of the repair shop floor, and gives us a lobby where we can finally offer musician essentials and accessories. With our new shopkeeper, Dustie Pitstick, former owner of ReCreate we have his retail experience to help us launch that beautifully.
For those of you who have instruments currently with us, be assured we have taken great care in transporting them to the new shop. Thank for your patience with us as we have indeed been a bit behind schedule on our repairs. Preparing a space and moving is no joke! We've had a lot of sleepless nights and long hours in getting it ready for our big day.
Hope to see you soon!
Jeremy & the Staff of Encore Instrument Repair.
